*EntIndividualisierung* (De-individualization) is a photo-based work exploring identity, perception, and the recognition of a person. The image was taken at the Museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg.

A person is viewing art. Their body remains visible, yet their face merges into the white museum wall. This minimal intervention removes the very feature by which we usually recognize and distinguish individuals.

The starting point was the concept of losing the ability to recognize others—such as in cases of dementia. However, the work expands upon this idea: what remains of individuality when the familiar can no longer be recognized, remembered, or clearly identified?

How much of a person must we recognize for them to remain an individual in our eyes?
