Description
StationTimes is a photo-based work exploring time, movement, and human paths within Berlin Central Station.
Multiple photographic moments are condensed into a single, shared pictorial space. The movements of travelers trace paths through the architecture, while individuals pause, becoming fixed points amidst the flow. This reveals varying speeds, directions, and rhythms—elements that a single photograph could only capture as a fleeting instant.
In this way, Berlin Central Station appears not merely as a transport hub, but as a tapestry of individual paths, encounters, waiting, arriving, and disappearing.
Real moments give rise to a reality that never actually existed all at once—yet one that reveals something about life in this place.
What traces do we leave behind in a place designed primarily for moving on?
